          Design scheme of a multifunctional electronic welding console

          The ambient illumination is detected by the ambient illumination sensor UI202 conforming to the human eye spectral characteristic curve, and the illumination value is converted into a digital quantity by the internal A/D conversion of the single chip microcomputer, and the PWM signal is controlled to control the LED light to drive the TPS61165 to realize the automatic dimming function. The electronic soldering station of the design not only reduces the safety problems and power consumption problems caused by the improper closing of the soldering iron, but also makes the welding environment more humanized.

          0 Preface

          In the enterprise circuit board welding processing, school students circuit board production, electronic R & D personnel circuit board processing, etc. are inseparable from the welding operation. The soldering iron used as a soldering work is prone to safety problems, especially after the welding personnel wears fatigue for a long time, and it is easy to forget to turn off the soldering iron, thereby posing a safety hazard.

          There are certain requirements for the control of welding occasions. When the ambient illumination is not suitable, it is easy for the welder to use eye fatigue and vision loss. In this solution, a multi-function electronic welding console that can automatically turn off the power of the electric iron and the exhaust fan to automatically adjust the illumination of the LED lighting according to the ambient light has a certain practical value.

          1. System design

          The multi-function electronic welding console consists of an exhaust fan, an LED illumination lamp, a reflective photoelectric switch, a DC power output terminal, a liquid crystal display, an ambient illumination detection sensor, and a main control circuit. DC power is supplied through the external power adapter. The adjustable LM2596 and fixed 5V LM2596 provide adjustable DC power and fixed 5V DC power. The AMS1117-3.3 regulator outputs 3.3V power to supply power to the main control system.

          The multi-function electronic welding console detects the ambient illuminance through the ambient illuminance sensor UI202, and drives the LED constant current driving device TPS61165 to realize the automatic adjustment function of the brightness of the LED illuminating light according to the detected ambient illuminance.

          When the operator comes to the welding console, the main control MCU detects the human body through the reflective infrared sensor, activates the exhaust fan to rotate, and simultaneously turns on the power of the soldering iron socket board, so that the electric iron starts to heat up.

          When the person has not returned after a period of time, the main control MCU turns off the power supply of the soldering iron socket board and the exhaust fan power.

          2. Hardware design of multi-function electronic welding console

          2.1 DC power supply design

          Host computer interface

          The DC power supply circuit diagram of the multi-function electronic welding console is shown in Figure 2. In addition to welding, the multi-function electronic console provides two sets of external DC power output ports, providing a set of adjustable DC power supply and fixed 5V DC power supply for easy debugging.

          The adjustable power supply provides adjustable voltage through the voltage regulator type LM2596. The adjustable power supply output voltage can be adjusted by the potentiometer RRP1. The output voltage regulation range is shown in Equation 1.
